Cross-sectional images that can help assess bones and support treatment planning.
X-ray
Images used to evaluate arthritis, fractures and existing joint replacements.
Ultrasound
Imaging of muscles, tendons and other soft tissues; it may also guide certain injections.
Physical therapy
Personalized exercises and rehabilitation to improve movement, strength and everyday function.
Surgical center
Coordination of surgical care at an appropriate surgical facility. Your team will confirm the procedure location and preoperative instructions.
Orthopaedic urgent care
Assessment of sudden, non-emergency bone, joint and muscle injuries. Check the urgent-care location’s current hours before visiting.
Injections
Treatment options may include cortisone or knee gel injections when appropriate. Benefits, risks and coverage are discussed before treatment.
Casting and splinting
Support and protection for appropriate injuries, with follow-up instructions for care and healing.
PRP injections
A self-pay option using platelet-rich plasma prepared from your blood. Dr. Hirshorn can assess candidacy and discuss benefits, limitations and costs.
